(Rocky on his first day in high school)

Rocky: "I don't wanna go mom."

Rusty: "Then don't go."

Rocky: "I gotta go."

Rusty: "Then go."

Rocky: "This is just as easy for you to say mom; I mean, you're not the one who's gonna have kids runnin' in the other direction when they see ya makin' fun of ya."

Rusty: "Yeah, and when they stop running and stop making fun, they'll get to know ya and think you're terrific, just like at your other school. You know, it takes time for people to get to like each other; I don't know why you think it should be different for you."

Rocky: "But I am different mom."
Rusty: "Yeah-- you're more beautiful on the inside than most people. Anybody can't see that..."

Rocky: "Screw 'em."

Rusty: "Right-- spoken like the true son of a red headed woman."
